Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread

They didn't ask for shoes, though they walked around bare footed.

They didn't ask for clothes, though most were barely dressed.

They didn't ask for food, though their next meal was hours away.

They didn't ask for toys, though they played games with rocks.

They asked for the one thing that mattered most.

A Bible.

That's all they wanted.  

God's Word.  

Truth.

Hope.

They hungered for it.
